Machine Gun Kelly Responds to Viral Post Claiming He Regrets ‘Fumbling’ Megan Fox

The rapper and actress broke up in 2024 and welcomed a daughter the following year

Machine Gun Kelly is setting the record straight after a viral post attributed to him claimed he regretted losing Megan Fox.

The rapper, whose real name is Colson Baker, responded to an X post shared on Monday, Oct. 12, that featured two recent photos of Fox in lingerie, a picture of the former couple together and an alleged screensh0t of a tweet in which MGK supposedly expressed regret over their breakup.

The post attributed to MGK claimed that seeing the photos of Fox made him want to throw his phone against a wall, adding that he had “the baddest woman to ever walk this planet in love with me” but managed to “f— it all up.”

The post also included the line, “imagine fumbling the girl of your dreams and then having to watch the entire world remind you how beautiful she is. i’ll never forgive myself for that s—.”

MGK pushed back on the post in a reply, writing, “that tweet is faker than a pair of tits”

The exchange comes as Fox, 40, and MGK, 36, continue to navigate life as co-parents following their split in late 2024. The former couple welcomed their daughter, Saga Blade, in March 2025.

Fox and MGK met while filming the indie thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass in March 2020. Although production was halted shortly afterward because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the two were spotted spending time together, and Fox later appeared as MGK’s love interest in the music video for his song “Bloody Valentine.”

By July 2020, the pair had confirmed their relationship during a joint appearance on the Give Them Lala podcast, where Fox described MGK as her “twin flame.”

MGK proposed to Fox in January 2022, and the couple later made several high-profile appearances together, including at the Grammy Awards in February 2023. They experienced a public rough patch that year after Fox appeared to hint at a breakup on Instagram, but the pair eventually reconciled before separating again.

The former fiancés reportedly split in December 2024. Their daughter arrived a few months later, with MGK announcing her birth on Instagram.

“She’s finally here!! our little celestial seed,” he wrote alongside a video of himself holding their baby girl.

Although the two are no longer together romantically, they continue to share updates about their daughter and speak about their roles as parents.

In March, Fox shared a series of photos on Instagram in which she wore black shorts, sunglasses and a strappy black bra. She captioned the post, “Love was the most savage monster of all,” and MGK commented, “Stoked we had a baby.”

MGK has also publicly praised Fox for her parenting. During an August appearance on Today with Jenna and Friends, he redirected praise he received for being a good father toward Fox, emphasizing the work she does raising their daughter.

“It’s awesome. I want to detract all of the congrats to me and just move it to Megan because she really does all the work. I keep getting called ‘The Music Teacher,’“ he said.

“Someone the other day was like, ‘You’re such a good dad!’ Just because I was holding the baby. And she was fuming, like, ‘No, no, no, no.’ She’s the one,” he continued. “I just play the guitar and pray that the baby is happy.”

Fox is also mom to sons Noah, Bodhi and Journey whom she shares with ex-husband Brian Austin Green. MGK also has an older daughter, Casie, from a previous relationship.
